The Center for Inclusion and Cross-Cultural Engagement is still learning to navigate through this Coronavirus pandemic. Most office on the campus of the University of Mississippi still work on campus, but the workers for the Center for Inclusion have decided to take different days to come into the office to reduce the risk of catching covid-19. Even their student workers work from home through the connection of google drive.

Center for Inclusion and Cross Cultural Engagement located in the union on the campus of the University of Mississippi is a home for all minorities who attend the university. Things have changed since the outbreak of the pandemic in March.
The Center for Inclusion acted as a home away from home for students of color and students of minority. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, students came and sat in the office to visit and do homework. Now the office is not allowing any visitors in the office, and the furniture is stacked up in corner to ensure safety protocols.
Lights in the Center for Inclusion cut off automatically when no one is present or there is no movement for a period of time. Administrative assistant desk is empty as it is her day to work from home.
There are five student ran organizations under the CICCE. All of the student ran organizations that are under the Center for Inclusion and Cross-Cultural Engagement are also doing work from home or virtually due to the Covid-19 Pandemic
LGBTQ+ coordinator, Cadence Penthany, is in working on her designated day to come in the office. She is frustrated due to the rain and gloomy weather. She also explains how Covid has impacted the way she works from home in the office.
